Another month draws to a close and it wound up being rather busy!

I do love february for a couple of reasons, namely because I adore the themes for valentine's day (cute colors, heart motifs, and chocolates are the best!) and it is also the month I first met my partner now fifteen whole years ago!  So it was very fun being so lovely dovey about that this year, plus I was able to enjoy lots of chocolate this month which was very exciting too ehe~

Cozy months are my absolute favorite since I love bundling up in soft outfits and having hot things, which was extra nice because we had so many snows this month! I believe there were four where I live in february alone but they were all very brief, a few inches overnite/into the morning and then by the late afternoon it would mostly melt. It was fun enjoying such powdery snows without it affecting the roads as much as usual~ there is nothing more beautiful to me than snowfall in the morning!

My partner and I celebrated valentine's a bit differently this year by going to the place we met for the first time those fifteen years ago!  It was so nostalgic going there together on the very same exact date we first met, it felt surreal being there after all this time~ The weather was perfect and we also got coffee and brunch at our favorite place to celebrate, dressed up cutely, and had did fun relaxing things in the city. It was perfect!

Since it has been so chilly we have been playing lots of cozy games, most notably stardew valley and the new pokemon games. I am in the process of collecting all my favorite pink pkmn for my main six which is a lot of fun. It has been harder for me to get as into the newer games compared to the old ones (except for x/y that was wonderful!) but it has been really fun just running around and catching! I really need to finally progress with the actual story though eep... it is just too fun to wander around aimlessly and play with friends.

The end of this month became rather challenging as my little Pancake wound up having another scary health issue which needed a sudden surgery...  He is currently recovering from it and is thankfully looking better with each day (I am writing this part up a few days into March, hello from the future!) but the entire ordeal happened so suddenly and was just so beyond stressful, I was such a wreck from it. My little fuzzy family members are so so important to me and them having to go through health issues really breaks my heart. I am really hoping for the best after this procedure and that he will be happy and healthy moving forward. I have been giving him tons of love, pets, and treats which he at least seems to enjoy~

I feel like there is more I had wanted to write however since things wound up becoming so challenging in february, I think this is where I will end it for now. Hopefully next month I will have only positive things please!!
